On Sunday, I went to Epsom and went to a park! I was with my Mum, my Dad and my sisters. We brought my aunties dog! We had a picnic there and it was really fun because there was lots of grass that I ran up and down on! What did you do on the weekend?!

Oops my birthday isn’t on a Saturday, it’s on a Friday/Friyay! It’s still a good day to have my birthday on. Are you counting down how many days it is until your birthday?! I have been counting down since 58 days…!

On Saturday it was my mum’s birthday! To celebrate it, me, my older sister and my younger sister gave her the cards we made her. After that, we got ready to go to Battersea park and brought a picnic! Me and my older sister brought roller skates and my little sister brought her scooter! It was a great day, especially as it was so sunny and warm!

On Saturday, I finished the rest of my music homework and tried to learn the D major scale. After, I helped my mum make egg mcmuffins (Just like the McDonalds ones). It was really nice. Then, I went outside to play for a bit with my sister. Once we came back in, I went on the blog and saw Mr Robbins commented on Nai’mah and I’s work on black history month! After I saw that, I practiced my 8 times tables for Monday. On Sunday, I went to church then went to my grandma’s house. At my Grandma’s house I played roblox with Olivia! Then, I went back to my mum’s house and had my dinner. I decided that I wanted to practice the times table I keep getting confused with. 8×9. On Saturday, I kept on thinking it was 74 but I know it’s 72. Im going to carry on reading the Dragon Princess now and fill in my reading diary. How was your weekend?

By the end of year 5, i want to get better at origami because im still struggling but i want to get better. I also want to get better at managing my distractions. I want to improve my times tables and get quicker at answering them by going on times table rockstars and seeing my scores and speed.

This weekend I practiced the keyboard and tried to get quicker at playing the C major scale and the G major scale to show Mr sporer on Tursday. At Saturday night we ordered pizza and watched a movie called wonder park! I did this weeks spelling and did some times tables. After, i made an origami boat because i remember last time we did it I found it difficult and only got to the diamond part. How was your weekend?!

Olive morris was born the 26th of June 1952 and died the 12th of July 1979. She died from cancer age 27. Her parents names were Dorris Lowena and Vincent Nathaniel Morris. She was from Jamaica but was born in Britain. Olive Morris was a community leader.The community was a black women’s group in 1974. She has 5 siblings, 3 are brothers and 2 are sisters. Her primary school was Heathbrook and her secondary school as Lavender Hill Girls school. For most of her life, she lived in South London.
