Hi everyone. Today’s big announcement is that we are re-launching “The Perfect Project 2021, feat Ed Sheeran and the LMP Orchestra.”
YOU COULD BE IN A VIDEO WITH ED SHEERAN AND THE LMP ORCHESTRA!
Back in Lockdown 1, we released this video that featured Pupils, Staff and Parents of the Pegasus Academy Trust singing Ed Sheeran’s song, “Perfect” as a multi screen video. (After watching the youtube video, keep scrolling down.) NOW YOU COULD BE PART OF THIS AMAZING PROJECT! Parents, Pupils, Staff, Brothers and Sisters are all welcome to post an entry. Do one video per person please emailing via www.wetransfer.com to jambusmusic@gmail.com
Ed was on a well deserved break after his record breaking tour “Divide” when we created this, so his management company didn’t want him featured in the video until he was back to work. He’s been recording his new album and it’s nearly finished, so his management company have now said it’s now okay for us to include Ed Sheeran in the re-release! I have the video he sent me already, so now all we need it you. Not only could you be singing with Ed Sheeran, but also the LMP Orchestra will be added to the new version so it will be an amazing thing you can send to all your friends and family to say you’ve been part of.
Watch this video to introduce the project.
VIDEO 1 – Introduction to Project
This video is the “Practice and training video.” Watch carefully so you know what to expect when filming your video.

Make sure you can hear the 4 loud beeps on the video you send me.
VIDEO 4 – Performance Video – USE THIS VIDEO WHEN YOU RECORD THE VIDEO
This video will give you the lyrics you need and the beeps you MUST have on your video. Turn up your speakers as loud as they go. Press play, follow the instructions and start you recording when I tell you to on the video.
VIDEO 5 – How to get your video to Mr Spoerer
This is a step by step guide to how to send your video to me.
Hi Year 5. Apologies for your lesson on Friday, the video for what ever technical reason was showing an error. Here it is again with the video fixed. This will be your lesson for this week too (week 5) as within it is the task you have to complete before next week.
Sing / Play / Bash well along with the video! Looking forward to your posts showing me your work.

Here is your Jam-Bus Online Music Lesson from Mr Spoerer this week. Welcome to Jam-Bus Online and I hope you enjoy yourself today.
WALT – Singers: You are going to listen to the original Bob Dylan version of “Make you feel my love” and hear the different style he sings it than Adele.
You are then going to research Bob Dylan and why he is considered to be “The Greatest Song Writer of all time.”
Here is a video of Mr Spoerer to Explain what to do in this lesson:
Please make a Bob Dylan poster that gives some interesting facts about his life. You can use the Wiki site for the information:
Make sure you make some notes whilst you watch and read. Make sure you have at least 5 interesting facts about this historic songwriter. The more the better though. Will yours be the best one?
Also practice the Adele version to be prepared for your “online performance” in a few weeks.
Instrumentalists:
If you have an instrument at home like a glockenspiel or a keyboard, below are the links you’ll need to download the music scores to learn this song.
TASK 1: Log into Charanga.com/yumu using your log in and password. Watch Mr Spoerer’s video and he’ll explain it all.
TASK 2: Listen to Bob Dylan’s version of “Make you feel my love” and then create a poster on why Bob Dylan is considered “The Greatest songwriter of all time.”
TASK 3: If you are an instrumentalist, download the “Level 3 Melody” score from the links above and work on playing this. If you need something easier, try level 1 or Level 2.
Make sure you write you username and password down carefully somewhere and also make sure you “save your password” when you first log in. This will mean you won’t have to remember it ever again.
INSTRUMENTALISTS – Music Theory Pupils
If you have a keyboard, glockenspiel or any tuned musical instrument at home, here are some music scores you can learn to play.
