Good morning Venus,

I hope you had a good weekend. It is our final week of our first half term!!!

Here is today’s schedule:

09:00-09:25: Say good morning to your class mates.

EMW – choose a multiplication game and practice!

Math Playground Multiplication

09:25-09:30: Register.

09:30-10:00: Together, we’ll go through today’s work and discuss any issues. Once that’s clear, you will check to make sure all your links work and you are able to open the documents and videos, as well as looking at the independent work and making sure you understand is expected of you. We will also look at today’s non screen activity task and set today’s kindness task.

Can I remind you all, that no one should be in their pyjamas or in bed! Everybody should also make sure that they have eaten their breakfast before the register is taken. This is a learning environment and you need to take it as seriously as you do, when you are in class. There should, also, be no personal discussions or spamming via the chat unless advised to do so!

10:00-11:00: Lesson 1 – Live Online: Literacy – To Generate Vocabulary For a Diary Entry

This week your big write will be to write a diary entry. In this lesson, we will be generating vocabulary to use when writing a diary entry. We will be focusing on how to generate adjectives for key nouns, and then moving this on to adding verbs and adverbs to describe what a character might be doing at a certain point of the story.

*LESSON 3 – PSHE:  Develop Strategies to Resolve Conflict

Today, you will be learning ways, on how to resolve conflict, this in itself is a life skill, for both adults and children. Conflict, is something that everyone will come into contact with, at some point in their life. You may have already experienced a conflicting situation. If you did: How did you deal with it? Do you think that you could have dealt with the situation differently? If, you haven’t experienced a conflicting situation (and even if you have), this lesson will equip you with the correct tools needed to resolve conflicts.
