09:30-10:00: We will go through today’s work and discuss any issues. You will, check all your links work and that you are able to open the documents and videos. It is your responsibility, to look at the independent work and make sure you understand is expected of you. Lastly, looking at today’s non screen activity task and kindness task.
Can I remind you all, that no one should be in their pyjamas or in bed! Everybody should also make sure that they have eaten their breakfast before the register is taken. This is a learning environment and you need to take it as seriously as you do, when you are in class. There should, also, be no personal discussions or spamming via the chat unless advised to do so!
10:00-11:00: Lesson 1 – Live Online: LITERACY – Identify Features of a Diary Entry.
Yesterday, we were generating vocabulary that can be used when writing a diary entry. We generated, adjectives, verbs and adverbs, to describe what Tristan was feeling, before and after viewing the images, through the peculiar, metal Viewer. Today, we will be concentrating on the features of a diary. It is important, that you know these all of the features, as you want your writing to be authentic as possible.

Reading, will be the focus of today’s thematic lesson. You will, be reading about Viking Longships – who used them, what they were made of etc. Your comprehension skills will then be tested, as you will have questions to answer based on what you have read. There are two separate readings. You will, also come across new vocabulary, whilst reading. Be sure, to add them to your list of new vocabulary words you have learnt over the past 6 weeks.
